Cumann Tomas ui Cleirigh was established by Irish Republicans in Dungannon with the aim of Maintaining and promoting Irish Republicanism in Dungannon
Cumann Tomas ui Cleirigh is founded on the principles of the 1916 Proclamation and is dedicated to their promotion. It is an independent Organisation which gives no allegiance or favour to any political organisation . Individual Members may favour or indeed be involved with political organisations but Cumann Tomas ui Cleirigh as a collective body will remain independent.

A commemoration will take place at 6am on the Morning of Thursady 3rd May at the Donaghmore Road, Dungannon.
That evening at 8pm a lecture "The Trial of Thomas Clarke" by Dr Shane Kenna will take place in the Clarke's Club, Dungannon at 8pm.

This is to be carried out in conjunction with the families of the above Volunteers and to involve commemorations, lectures, debates, murals, festivals etc.
To Foster and promote a united Ireland as set out in the 1916 proclamation.
To encourage, facilitate and organise debate on Republicanism in Dungannon past, present and future
To specifically encourage education among the People of Dungannon on the Republican history of Dungannon with a particular focus on young people.
To work with other organisations in Dungannon in relation to the promotion of Irish sport, language and culture. To reach out to other groups and individuals where their support is likely to be in accordance with the stated objectives.
